God didn't have any qualms about murdering all but 8 out of several million in the flood myth, so why should j-dubs expect him to be any more lenient this time?

why do some jw's believe their righteousness will save others?
by carla inthe conversation usually goes something like this-.
jw- nobody knows who will make it.
non-jw- the literature clearly states that one must be a jw, must be associated with god's channel, etc... jw then goes on to give their own personal take on the matter, so where is the 'unity'?

Why does the Watchtower allow Celeb Dubs to Run Amuk
by I quit! inbesides liking their money i think there are other reason.
one of the reason i believe is that they don't want to draw attend to any of their weird ideas.
becoming a jw is a slow process much like the old story about boilng a frog.

"Michael Jackson knew it was the truth, that's why he left his kids to his JW mother"
by BonaFide ini talked to a couple of my friends that are jw's this week about this, they said, "well, obviously mj thought it was the truth, that's why he left his kids to his mother, so they can be raised as witnesses.".
why didn't he leave his kids to his brothers?
he has several of them.. bf.

"The brother I was with worked door-to-door with him. I didn't say much to him, but a car drove by blasting Thriller, and he laughed at that. Oh, and he sang to the radio. He also said that he had witnessed to Barbra Streisand, Paul McCartney, Stevie Wonder, and others. He said he placed literature with all of them."
LOL, i'm sure Paul McCartney, who had spent time with weirdos like the Marhareshi in the 60's had no trouble spotting bullshit by the time he met Michael Jackson.

Did You Feel The Love As A Jehovah's Witness?
by minimus inother than feeling "love bombed" when you first started associating with the "brotherhood", did you experience the "love" in your years within the organization?.
if you felt truly loved, was it in reality, a "conditional love"?.

Weird stuff individuals believe
by bluecanary inthis thread doesn't just have to be about jws.
it's about the weird stuff that isn't taught by the religion, but an individual believes it.

Is Earth Itself the Great Abyss?
by cameo-d infrom wiki:.
because he contrived "to make his throne higher than the clouds over the earth and resemble 'my power' on high", satan-sataniel was hurled down, with his hosts of angels, and since then he has been flying in the air continually above the abyss.
abyss: 13501400; earlier abisse, me abissus < ll abyssus < gk abyssos bottomless, equiv.

"Our dear Watchtower .... our precious magazine..."
by drwtsn32 ini received this vomit-inducing email from a jw:.
i had the tonight show w/ conan o'brien playing in the background, at first i was shocked to hear what i heard, yet very happy to see what was being prominently displayed in public view for the entire world to see (as the show is syndicated internationally)!
yup, the study version of our dear watchtower with the words announcing jehovah's kingdom prominently on the front cover.
